Join me at the beautiful Tribeca Grand Hotel for some raunchy blues from the formidable Miss Ida Blue. Joining us tonight will be an all-star line up of some of NY’s top jazz musicians. Jon Eric Kellso (trmpt), Dan Block (sax), Evan Arntzen (clar.), Kevin Dorn (drums), Brian Nalepka (bass) and John Gill (guit.). Along with our blues rep. we’ll also present some of the neglected gems from the golden years of Billie Holiday (1936-41) in commemoration of her 100th anniversary.
